Our inspections are focused on health related issues, but can cover construction quality and structural concerns as well. The two are intricately inter wound. In certain states, licensed structural inspections may be required. If you require a licensed structural inspection for specific reasons, we strongly suggest you have us come in first and let you know whether the property is worth you following up with another inspector. We may find out that the house is uninhabitable from a health standpoint. Our costs for inspections are estimated for travel time and approximately 2 hours on site, and another hour discussing findings with the client. Written reports are charged for by the hour, and can cost up to an additional $250.00, and include a listing of the health risks, options for repairs, percentages for success, and cost variables. If a client requires full structural and health reports, we bill according to the time required to construct that report. These reports can be quite detailed and lengthy, depending on each persons individual requirements.
Retainers of 50% must be paid before scheduling. Out of state trips are billed for in full before scheduling.
Clients should discuss their requests and suggested schedules if we are being asked to be on site for longer than 2 hours. For example, please let us know if you would like inspections on multiple houses, or the inspection of multiple properties, meeting with builders, meeting with architects, consulting with others, etc. If we are flying in and need a car rental to get to the site, this must also be listed. Hotel fees must be paid by clients. Each request for our services should be discussed, with the amount of time you would like to dedicate for each area. Plans for projects, drawings, health sheets and written agendas should be exchanged for cost estimates before trips and contracts are set up. Contracts must be signed before scheduling trips, detailing any work requested, and covering the estimated time required to take care of any activities.

Testing
Tests for molds, radon, electromagnetics, lead, pesticides and other toxics are available. Please let us know in advance if you would like these done so we can provide costs and be prepared with the proper equipment. If we don't know in advance, we will not be able to do many of these tests. Costs for specialized testing such as lab analysis will be additional.

Remedial Work
We can make time to do correctional work on the site when an inspection is completed, such as toxics encapsulation and clean up. Costs can be estimated for you before work begins, but any request for work must be made before we come or we will not be prepared with the proper equipment and tools. Note that mold test results generally take 7 to 10 days. Contracts are drawn up with the clients requirements before any work is scheduled.

Property, real estate and land location Tad does all preliminary land research work, then interacts with realtors and owners locating specific property options. Services include traveling to locations, inspecting areas and properties, and video taping options for clients to review.

Information Packages
The PACKAGE system we have set up provides information for our clients on specific subjects. They have been designed to save everyone time and money, and to answer a myriad of questions. Preliminary packages are free, which lay out our services, fees and processes.
Our secondary packages all require a fee, which covers the costs of an enormous amount of information critical for initiating all projects. All items included in our secondary packages are listed in the preliminary packages.

Our publications are full of information you will not get anywhere else, they answer scores of questions most people don't know to ask, and they cost a lot less than paying consultation fees to get the answers over the phone!
