Because we are working all over the country and see many of the cleanest geographical areas, we are very familiar with the criteria that makes property healthy and especially desirable. We have information from healthy areas that have key properties for sale, which will work very well for those interested in super healthy air quality. We deal with realtors and private owners that have houses and properties for sale in many locations. Our local realtors here in Vermont and Hawaii know what we are looking for and keep us posted with the latest properties that have become available.

Good high quality acreage for building is hard to find today. Most states have used up the best sites, and  more low quality land is now being developed.  I see this all over as I travel around the country. Much of the land left for development in suburban areas is a health risk to live on, simply because the air quality is so low there. Homes are being built directly adjacent to the freeways, under power lines and in low lying wet land areas that up until now were too costly to develop or were just not attractive enough for anyone to buy. But as land becomes scarce and costs skyrocket, this type of property becomes marketable. This we see in high population areas such as Weschester county in New York, areas in northern New Jersey, eastern New York, western and southern Connecticut, in California, New Mexico and Arizona, and all places where lots of people are looking for safe places to live. Premium prices are being paid for any land in these states [as well as all over], and yet the ambient air quality can be very, very low.

There are certain factors that make one piece of land better than another or superior for health. For example, the first settlers to this country knew that air quality in the valleys and low lying areas was inferior, and the prime ground for breading the killer diseases of the day. They settled on the ridges and mountainous areas. Now a days, the sources of contaminants are much larger in number, and the valleys and lower altitude areas have become thickly settled and very toxic. Besides the natural environmental hazards like high moisture and humidity and mold, all types of road contaminants like auto exhaust, industrial and household contaminants sink and rest in lower lying elevations. These toxics can and do build up to high levels, especially at specific times of the year when there is limited air flow, high humidity, and higher temperatures.

Most parts of the country have areas that have better characteristics than others, and therefore offer higher health qualities. Before any property is purchased, the basic principles for healthy property should be analyzed, or your investment and health may suffer dramatically. The difference between success and failure may be a simple analysis before buying.

In Vermont there are great sites, but as in many ski areas where there is a lot of vacation traffic, there is also much wood smoke in the winter. These areas must be avoided if the highest quality air is to be obtained year round. Hawaii on the other hand, offers incredible options, with limited wood smoke problems!!

We take each clients requirements, and interact with realtors to find the best options available. Tad goes out on location and researches the specific properties, and video tapes these options for the client to check out at their leisure. If any of the properties are of interest to the client, then they can travel to personally inspect them.

We ask that you let us know your requirements in writing, such as your long term plan, preference- land for a trailer retreat, vacation cabin, building new, or renovating existing house, and what your budget may be. Do you have to be near a town, hospital or friends, or can you be rural?  Are you physically impaired or do you like long dirt roads with lots of snow? Do you want sea side property and need to be near New York city, San Francisco or Los Angles? What are your health problems? What are your social and financial requirements- your job activities and restrictions and so on.
Taking a look at all these areas helps to narrow down what your personal specific requirements are, and what options you may actually have that you may have not considered. HISTORICAL CAPE FOR SALE

Once part of the Molley Stark trail for run away slaves, once owned by friends of Thomas Edison, this  200 plus year old house has a colorful history.
Located 30 minutes from Stratton and Mt. Snow ski areas, it butts up against large parcels, including federal lands which is home to the American Black bear corridor. Rich in wildlife such as moose, turkey, deer, and small game, this pristine environment sits on a high hillside at about 1500 feet, at the end of a town maintained dirt road. We are organizing the plans for small multiple parcel sub division on a highly unusual high altitude piece of property in southern Vermont. This will be a small community with guidelines and rules set up to protect the health of all land owners.

Each parcel is 10 or more acres, and has lots of privacy and plenty of clean air. All homes will be designed to be energy efficient, with lots of  natural light, passive solar with voltaic options.
